Tooele, Tooele County
5-star rated by Tooele County homeowners. Locally owned by Danny & Trayson.
We turn tired, dated Tooele County kitchens into open, easy-to-use spaces. New layouts, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and new appliances, all done by one crew with one honest price in writing.
We know what you are really worried about
After doing this out here for 20 years, we can almost guess what is on your mind before you say it. The people in Tooele who call us are nervous about the same handful of things. Here is what we hear, and exactly how we handle each one.
That fear is earned. Most of the horror stories out here start with a low bid and a pile of change orders. We put one honest, itemized price in writing before we start, and it does not move unless you change the plan.
A kitchen is the one room you cannot live without, so we build the schedule around it. You get a real start and finish date, and we do not open up your kitchen until your cabinets and materials are actually here.
Cabinets that do not line up, drawers that catch, grout that cracks. We set it right the first time with finishes that hold up, and we do not call it done until you would be glad to show it off.
You have seen the half-finished jobs where the crew left to chase the next check. We are local, we finish what we start, and Danny and Trayson are on your job, not off starting three others.
You deal with the owners here, not a salesman who sells the job and hands you off. One point of contact, calls and texts get answered, and you always know what is happening this week and next.
What a kitchen remodel includes
You get one team for the whole kitchen, so nothing falls through the cracks between trades.
We plan the new kitchen with you, open up cramped walls, and lay it out so it is easy to cook in and easy to live in.
New cabinets built to fit your space, with the drawers, pull-outs, and storage that make the kitchen work for you.
Durable quartz counters and a new island that hold up to daily cooking and clean up with a quick wipe.
We set your new range, oven, and dishwasher, and run the sink and water lines so everything is ready to use.
New outlets, under-cabinet lights, and bright, even lighting so you can actually see what you are cooking.
New floors and a tile backsplash that tie the whole kitchen together and make it feel finished.
Our specialty
The kitchen is the heart of the home. It is where your family gathers, and it is the room that most changes how a house feels day to day and how it shows when you sell. A new kitchen makes the whole house feel new.

Local kitchen experts
We remodel kitchens all over Tooele, the county seat, so we know these homes well. Up in Overlake and the newer subdivisions on the north end of town, a lot of houses came with builder-grade kitchens, and owners are ready to upgrade to real cabinets, quartz counters, and better lighting. Down in Old Tooele, the older homes near downtown often still have the original cabinets, tight walls, and a layout that just does not work for how people cook today.
Wherever you are in Tooele, we handle any permit the county needs when we move plumbing, gas, or electrical, so it is done right. A lot of Tooele families commute over the hill to the Salt Lake valley for work, so the last thing you want is a contractor who drags the job out. You should not have to drive over the point to find a good remodeler. Financing is available too. And you are not handed off to a salesman here. You get Danny and Trayson, the two owners, on your job.
A lot of the older houses on the downtown grid, the early-1900s cottages and the mid-century ramblers near Main Street, were built with the kitchen walled off in its own little room at the back of the house. It made sense back then. It does not make sense now, because you end up cooking with your back to everyone. The fix out here is almost always the same. We take out the wall between the kitchen and the living or dining room. Most of the time that wall is holding up part of the house, so we set a beam in the ceiling to carry the load and open the whole thing up. All of a sudden the person cooking is part of the room again, and the light from the front windows finally reaches the back of the house.
If you bought newer, up in Overlake or one of the north-end subdivisions off SR-36, you probably got the standard builder package. Flat cabinets that stop short of the ceiling, laminate counters, and a stock layout the builder used up and down the whole street. There is nothing wrong with the bones. They just cut every corner they could to hit a price. We swap those out for real cabinets that go all the way up, quartz counters, a deeper sink, and lighting that actually works, and the kitchen goes from builder-basic to the nicest one on the block without moving a single wall.
Nine out of ten owners we sit down with out here want the same thing, an island. Once we open a wall up there is usually room for one, and it does a lot more than look good. It gives you the counter space these kitchens never had, a spot for the kids to do homework while dinner cooks, and stools so people can sit and talk to you instead of standing in the doorway. On the newer Overlake floor plans we can often turn a short peninsula into a real island. In the older downtown homes it is the payoff for taking the wall out.
We steer most Tooele families toward quartz counters, and it is not just a trend. Our water is hard and our air is dry, and quartz does not need sealing the way granite does, so it holds up with almost no fuss. It wipes clean after a big Sunday dinner, it does not stain, and it takes the heat and the wear of a busy family kitchen. If you have your heart set on granite or butcher block we will build it. But when someone asks what we would put in our own house, this is the answer.
We also finish basements in Tooele, so if your kitchen is part of a bigger plan, see our Tooele basement finishing page. See everything we do on our main kitchen remodeling page.
